Enjoy the best of seasonal summer cooking with these new participation classes held in my home kitchen at 4844 Colfax Avenue South in Minneapolis . Hallie Harron, who co-owns our home in France with me, had so much fun last year that she's coming back to teach again this August. THE FOURTH OF JULY: Independence Day is right around the corner with its fabulous picnicking possibilities. Try this basket's worth of make and take ideas for pot-luck events plus recipes for a stay at home celebration. You'll be a hit with these great sides: Marinated Grilled Mushrooms in Garlic Dressing; Jicama, Dried Cherry and Peanut Slaw with Honey-Lime Dressing; and Bacon, Green Onion and Mustard Seed Potato Salad.
